SERVAMP is a vampire action×fantasy manga series by Tanaka Strike-Sensei, serialized since 2011. 15 volumes have been released. An anime television adaptation began airing on July, 2016 and concluded on September with 12 episodes. In 2018, it was made into a movie too. And it’s scheduled to be made into a play in November, 2020 as well. With all these media development, it’s certainly a popular title.

The main protagonist, Mahiru Shirota, finds a weakened black cat on his way back home.

With his motto: everything should be simple, Mahiru doesn’t like to waste his time, thinking too much or regretting later on. He even accepts the offer if it works smoothly and in a simple way even if he becomes busier with that work.

Meanwhile, a mysterious rumor is spreading out in town. Surprisingly, the “vampire” emerges in town. The number of the victims is tens of people, who have got all their blood sucked up……

Of course, it’s just the rumor so nobody has ever seen such a thing happening but Mahiru realizes that the rumor is gradually spreading out in town as well.

One day, when Mahiru comes back home…… he sees a stranger, instead of the black cat, Kuro, who he is now taking care of.

Astonished, Mahiru comes to his senses when he sees all the food in his house eaten up. He tries to kick him out but the stranger avoids him so easily. Having lost his balance, Mahiru opens the curtain…… when the stranger turns into a black cat, Kuro!

The stranger, then, explains to him that he is the “vampire”. Mahiru realizes. He might be the vampire in question, who attacks people……!

However, the stranger denies that assumption quickly.

“Well…… (attacking people?) That’s a crime…… what a hassle thing……”

The stranger tells Mahiru that he will leave his house at night since he doesn’t want to get involved with any trouble. Then he also advises him, “Don’t call my name when I look a human figure.”

However, right after that, Mahiru carelessly mentions “Kuro”, wanting to ask him about the black cat, Kuro.

And the next moment……!

The contract is made.

Starting with this contract, Mahiru will get involved with the battle of the vampires……!
