What kind of Physical Manga is 銀の匙 Silver Spoon?

It’s a Japanese coming-of-age agricultural Physical Manga, written and illustrated by Arakawa Hiromu, the author of Fullmetal Alchemist・Arslan Senki!
The main character, Hachiken Yugo, failed to pass the entrance exam for the high school he planned to attend. Being struggled with his strict father and a tough experience of taking the entrance exam, he slightly became neurotic. He ended up enrolling at the rural Agricultural High School in the countryside of Hokkaido, where he met students, full of passions wanting to pursue their career, related with agriculture. Yugo, just wanting to stay away from his father, tries to find what he really wants to do there.

This Physical Manga is the winner of 【Cartoon grand prize】(Manga Taisho , which we featured the other day) in 2012. It’s been so popular that it has been made into Anime twice and also into the live-action film!

銀の匙 Silver Spoon includes all the techniques which you can see in Fullmetal Alchemist or Arslan Senki. Not only the characters, the worldview and detailed settings, but it also includes a moving storyline with lots of dramas. I want to recommend it too especially because we can feel how the main character, Yugo, grows himself!
