Nakamura Asumiko-Sensei is a Japanese manga artist and illustration, who began her career since 2000s. In her college year, she applied for the manga contest for a magazine and awarded. She continued to apply for other contests for manga magazines and finally debuted. She is currently a famous manga artist who works on various genres such as shojo manga or illustrations as well as BL manga.

In her high school year, she belonged to the drama club while the course she took was art.

While they were practicing singing in the music class, Kusakabe Hikaru noticed that Sajo Rihito was lip-syncing. Unexpectedly, Rihito’s attitude wasn’t that bad.

Rihito said, “I just couldn’t see the notes on the blackboard well and I didn’t want to ruin their practices”. Hikaru thought that Rihito just should have told that to the teacher. And again, Rihito said he didn’t want to interrupt the teacher too.

Hikaru, then, suggested that they should practice together. Hikaru had no idea why he even said that but he somehow “wanted to do that”. Looking very surprised, Rihito accepted Hikaru’s offer.

The main protagonist, J, has a gender identity disorder.

The story is set in America, 1950s. A little J, who strongly yearned for Marilyn Monroe, has grown up, thinking that he was a woman.

His mother was little strict but her father was easygoing and kind.

However, when J turned 13 years old, a tragedy occurred. Even though he was a boy, he has grown up with attractions as a girl. His father got fired from work and became alcoholic, drinking every single day.

His mother had to start working, when cracks started to appear in his family. His father said he wanted to have a physical relationship with J.

His mother saw what was happening to them and shot him to kill. The family got completely ruined. J was sent to the nursing home and started to live there.

My family got ruined because of me. J, who has grown up, meet various people and fall in love with them, dragging the trauma. He has relationship with men, woman…… various people…… This story is all about J.
