JoJolion is the eighth Installment of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki.

The series was serialized in Shueisha’s Seinen manga magazine, Ultra Jump, from May 2011 to August 2021. It’s chapters are compiled and collected into 27 separate volumes. In 2013, a survey by Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Placed JoJolion as the 12th best Manga series for male readers. In the same year, it also won the Grand Prize for manga at Japan Media Arts Festival.

An anime season is yet to be announced.

The setting of this story is the Town of Morioh. It has been divided in half by a massive earthquake, which has caused massive unnatural protuberances known as “Wall Eyes” to spring out of the ground, all across the town.

A young girl by the name of Yasuho Hirose is seen hiding from someone, presumably her stalker.

She turns around, and to her shock, she sees a man half buried in the ground. She goes over to him, but backs out when the man wakes up and tries to reach for her. She is worried that he might just be a pervert who would attack her if she got any closer.

She notices a star-Shaped birth mark on his shoulder, and what seems to resemble human bite marks around it. She takes a picture of the birth mark.

Suddenly, water starts coming out of the ground, and the man starts to sink. To save his life, Yasuho grabs him by the arm and pulls him out, revealing him to be buck naked. She accidentally peaks at his crotch, but for some reason, has a confused look on her face.

Joshu Higashikata, the guy she was hiding from, appears and becomes enraged at seeing them in this humiliating position. Joshu shoves Yasuho away from him, locks his arms around his neck, and attempts to smash his head in with a brick.

But just as Joshu is about to attack, a transparent bubble flies out of the birth mark and pops near Joshu’s face, resulting in his both eyes disappearing.

Horrified, Joshu starts swinging around the rock, shrieking in the agony of his disappeared eyes. This gives the naked man a chance to gut punch Joshu, knocking him out. Just as Joshu is about to hit the ground, his eyes return.

Yasuho stands in shock, while her voice narrates about the origin and different interpretations of curses, while also mentioning in astonishment, that when she peaked at his crotch, what she saw were four testicles instead of two.
