The story starts of with the Magic Council members talking about doing something about the Fairy tail guild.

Elsewhere, Natsu Dragneel and his partner cat, Happy, arrive at the city of Hargeon though train. Due to Natsu’s motion sickness, he feels lightheaded and can’t get off the train before it starts to move again.

We see a young Lucy Heartfelia looking for some magic items, as she is a mage. She tries to get a discount on an item by showing her boobs but only gets 5% off.

As she angrily leaves the shop for only getting a small discount, she sees women gathering around someone calling himself the Chameleon.

Lucy is attracted to him, she can’t resist walking towards him, that is when Natsu shows up to see if the Chameleon was actually Igneel but gets disappointed. Lucy out of nowhere, invites Natsu for a meal. She then explains that chameleon was actually using a love charm and Natsu’s interference broke the spell.

Natsu Thanks her for the food and she departs.

Later that day, as she is reading a magazine and admiring the fairy tail guild, chameleon sneaks up behind her and invites her to a party on his ship. Lucy declines instantly, after which he lies about being a fairy tail member and that he can get her into fairy tail.

When on his boat, he tries to drug Lucy but she slaps away the wine. Chameleon then calls his henchmen to restrain Lucy. As Lucy is about to cry, Natsu comes flying down. He then gets motion sickness and is out of the fight.

Lucy summons Aquarius, who brings the ship to port. As soon as the ship ceases to move, Natsu gets serious and slaps the henchmen while Introducing himself as Natsu of Fairy tail.

Happy then reveals that Chameleon is actually a criminal named Bora. Natsu defeats Bora’s entire crew with his Dragon Slayer magic.

Natsu sees the guards coming, grabs Lucy’s hand and starts running while telling her that if she wants to joins fairy tail then she should come with him, Lucy agrees.
