It’s originally a web manga, serialized by an illustrator, Tonogaya Miyuki-Sensei, in the web illustration posting website, Pixiv. Afterwards, it was officially serialized in “Gangan ONLINE” (SQUARE ENIX) and was issued as physical comics. Three volumes have been released so far.
This series has now been going viral in Japanese social media~! Well, let’s take a look at what kind of story it is!

Outline of Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi!

Himuro-Kun, an office worker, is a descendant of an ice fairy (yuki onna).
Although he is serious on working, a snowstorm blows up all of a sudden whenever he is obsessed with his work.
Although he loves flowers, they wither, not being able to handle coldness he releases.
He just accepts it but…… his colleague, Fuyutsuki-San really wants to help him out, getting over such a situation.
What Fuyutsuki-San does next day is to give Himuro-Kun a chunk of straw as a gift.
Why straw……? Himuro-Kun wonders…… Then she tells him that those who live in the snowy region cover the straw around the plants so they get over coldness. She looked it up on the internet for the info and got the straw for him.
Himuro-Kun really appreciates Fuyutsuki-San’s coolness and kindness……
And he had a crush on her right away.
Himuro-Kun is really aware of his love towards her.
Himuro-Kun, who loves flowers, cats and kind people, now has a crush on her so bad and…… because of his strong emotion, the snowstorm blows up, making the hallway of the office full of ice.
A few days later, Himuro-Kun is watching something from his cellphone.
When Fuyutsuki-San asks him what he is watching……?
Himuro-Kun says he is watching a cute cat’s video.
Although he loves cats, if he gets too excited, actually petting them, he becomes too emotional, ending up having the snowstorm blow up…… So he is just enjoying watching it as if he is actually petting them by watching the video.
Seeing him doing it, Fuyutsuki-San……
…… gives Himuro-Kun cat’s whiskers as a gift on the next day.
He finds out that Fuyutsuki-San keeps the whisker, naturally falling off from her own cat.
Why whiskers……? Himuro-Kun wonders…… She tells him that she found out that the cat’s whisker can be a charm of “good luck coming along to you” and thought of giving them to him.

Himuro-Kun now looks super excited, holding the whiskers, having the snowstorm blow up again that everybody around him admits that “he is super crazy about cats.”

I love their clumsiness too! They are so adorable! While Himuro-Kun is involved with so many troubles because he is a descendant of snow fairy such as his body shrinks from hotness in summer or his fingers get too cold and his body is covered with ice when he gets too nervous, Fuyutsuki-San tries to help him out. Their relationship is so lovely, huh~?
