It is said that 70% of the human brain capacity is unused. It is also said that incredible power that humans could have is lying within this region. This unused 70% brain capacity is also known as “NIGHT HEAD.”

It’s an anime television series adapted from a 1990s Japanese TV drama. Back then, it was an explosive hit in Japan, and various media mix such as comicalized, anime and movie versions, have been developed since then.

As for the comicalized version, it was written and illustrated by Tateno Makoto-Sensei and Volume 1 was issued around 1997. The second anime series is scheduled to premiere in July 2021, with some more characters added.

One stormy night, two brother were running away.

These brothers have escaped from the “psychic laboratory,” where they were brought in 15 years ago. Even though they had tried to escape from there and go home so many times, they could never make it.

However, that night, the brothers finally made it because one elderly man died in the laboratory.

Growing up, they were raised in the average household.

However, one day, their parents found that a toy moved without being touched by anybody. The toy didn’t have batteries inside as well…… Then an idea hit their parents.

As they assumed, they found out that the older son was able to move objects without touching them, and the younger son was able to read peoples’ mind. Since their parents were just the normal humans, they got so scared of them, ending up sending them to the laboratory……

The laboratory is where they protect children who possess the psychic power and train them how to control those power. However, these brothers’ power were too strong for the staff there to control them. All they could do was to suppress them.

And the elderly man who died that night, when they escaped, was the most powerful psychic, working there. His role was to make a “barrier” so these boys would not escape from the laboratory…… although he was such a kind gentleman.

Now, there’s nobody who can stop them. The older brother jumped over the barrier.

Seeing him do that, the younger brother was about to follow him.

However…… he worried if he would be able to fit in the society since he knew he could read peoples’ mind, even though he really wanted to be with his big brother.

However…… there’s something they don’t know yet. They don’t know how the “outside world,” which they have wanted to live in, has changed while they were isolated for 15 years……!
