What Is Tantei wa Mou, Shinde iru.?

It is a Japanese mystery light novel series written by a light novel author, Nigo ju-Sensei. A manga adaptation with art by Mugiko-Sensei has been serialized as well.
As for its light novel version, four volumes have been released, issued by KADOKAWA. It’s been very popular with over 300,000 copied in total already been issued and awarded in “This Light Novel is Amazing!”
As media comics, its comicalized version by Mugiko-Sensei, has been serialized in “Monthly Comic Alive” since July 2020. An anime television series adaptation is scheduled to premiere in July 2021 as well.
By the way, this series has already been received high-rated feedback such as ‘With all those complex elements, we can still read it smoothly, with a well-organized storyline.’

Outline of Tantei wa Mou, Shinde iru.!

The story starts off on the plane.
On the plane, the cabin attendant is looking for a “detective,” not a doctor or a nurse.
One of the passengers, Kimizuka Kimihiko, feels suspicious, thinking what’s going on now might have something to do with himself tending to be ‘involved with such an incident.’
However, a girl, sitting next to him, raises her hand, saying,
“Yes, I’m the detective.”
The girl with beautiful silver hair and blue eyes stands up elegantly. And……
“Can you be my assistant?”
She says, taking Kimihiko’s hand, smiling.
The girl’s name is “Siesta.”
That’s her code name and nobody knows her real name, age and nationality. He finds out that this strange girl has been engaged as a “detective” to fight against the villains in the world.
Why me? What am I gonna do? Kimihiko wonders…… But anyhow, he ends up becoming “Siesta”’s assistant.
After three years have passed since that incident on the plane occurred, Kimihiko has still been Siesta’s assistant.
Kimihiko starts to figure out what kind of person Siesta is while being her assistant, deducing cases, getting involved with gun battles, and smiling with her……
Then Siesta dies.
Kimihiko is forced to leave her for good even without knowing Siesta’s real name.
One year has passed since Siesta died.
Kimihiko, turning 18-year-old, is now having a peaceful life. He sometimes looks back on Siesta and becomes down. And one day……
A girl shows up in front of him……!
Then she says, “So. you’re the great detective, Kimizuka Kimihiko, huh?”
It’s well worth reading with a deep scenario about a well-balanced mixture of the three years when Kimihiko spent with Siesta as her assistant and the current cases!
It’s quite a rare intro, huh? It sounds interesting! Since only two volumes of comics have been released, it’s easy to read it through too!
