Yakuza are members of transnational organized crime syndicates originating in Japan. They make money by being engaged with crimes through violence. The definition might differs but it is similar to “Mafia” overseas.

It’s a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Oono Kousuke-Sensei, serialized since 2018.

As of November 2020, over three million copies have been issued and this series was adapted into a live-action television drama in 2020 as well. It will also be adapted into an anime series in April 2021. It will definitely be even more popular in the future.

The story is set in Japan. A man lives in one of the rooms in the crummy apartment.

He has a tattoo of the cool dragon on his back.

His name is Tatsu, who used to be a yakuza, called “the Immortal Tatsu,” and now he is……

……a househusband who makes his wife’s bento (lunch) every day.

(He took a picture of the bento because he was able to make it so cute……)

Tatsu’s wife, Kumi, works as a designer.

However, one day, Kumi leaves home in the morning without eating breakfast, thinking she might be late for work. Seeing her off, Tatsu is about to eat breakfast, holding their cat, when……!

He notices that he hasn’t given her lunch that he has made for her!

Tatsu carefully puts her lunch in the duralumin case, worrying that she might not be able to enjoy eating it if it gets smashed. Then he, looking exactly like a YAKUZA with an apron on……

While being in such a hurry, he is stopped by some police officers and asked some questions.
