Hello everyone. I’m Manga Republic’s Boss.
I used to be addicted to playing mah-jongg long ago.
Let’s leave the story about the club activity from our past aside for now (Oh, Boss’s is not the club activity, though……). The manga series we’ll be featuring today is…… the high-rated anime in 2020, whose live action movie was recently released!

What Is Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasuna!?

It’s a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Oowara Sumito-Sensei.
It has been serialized in MONTHLY BIG COMIC SPIRITS since 2016 and it’s been his first serialized series.
A detailed “illustration” in the story is influenced by “Doraemon,” and various elements from the movies or the rakugo, are also incorporated into the title or the characters’ lines. Actually, Oowara-Sensei has learned animation on his own, while going to the art university. While he was working on Doujinshi at COMITIA, he was headhunted and started to serialize his manga series.
As for its comics, five volumes have been released and its anime television series adaptation aired from January 2020 with 12 episodes in total. A live-action film adaptation premiered in September 2020 as well. It’s been one of the featured series with various media adaptations this year!
Wow! Speaking of COMITIA, it’s a meetup for fans, where the original Doujinshi are distributed, right? Since it’s quite a big event, they recently refrain from holding it, though……
Yeah! COMITIA is such a big original Doujinshi sales event, right? He was headhunted in there? And started to serialize his series……? That’s incredible……!

Outline of Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasuna!

“The bridge leading to the school, the mysteriously awkward height difference, the school built on the water…… So many complicated and mysterious structures renovated many time…… It’s literally, the public Dungeon!”
“I guess it was my best choice to come to this high school. I want to create anime, set up here.”
Asakura Midori tweets.
She is a 1st year high school girl, who is dreaming of creating anime, but she's too disheartened to make that first step by herself.
So she is going to join the Anime Culture Research Club with her friend, Kanamori Sayaka but……
By pure chance, Mizusaki Tsubame, a high school model, visits the club. She is popular and an up-and-coming socialite at school. She wants to join the Anime Research Club too. However, her parents, both actor and actress, want her to be the actress too, therefore, they don’t want her to join the “Anime Research Club.”
Tsubame, on the other hand, wants to have a normal school life. Tsubame doesn’t like her parents, who hate her becoming an animator, just because the media is classified as anime. She insists that the animator is a professional creator and also an actor.
Not being able to leave Tsubame alone, Midori and Sayaka escape with her. The energetic trio, with the thought “We want to create anime!,” (Even though Sayaka is not into anime much, she wants to make profit from it by managing it) start working together.
While Tsubame is good at drawing and painting a portrait, Midori is good at drawing a setting image or backgrounds.
When their pictures are combined……
The portrait and backgrounds perfectly match, making them look like a real anime!
Tsubame becomes even more eager to create their original anime, however, she gets disappointed with her parents who would never allow her to join the Anime Research Club. Meanwhile, Sayaka suggests that they should form the “Eizouken” Club (an animation club, which they disguise as a motion picture club), instead!
“This is the world I imagined and draw for, that’s why the setting is critical!”
That’s how the “strongest world” that the three started!
Of course, there are issues to the newly-formed “Eizouken Club”……!
Are these three able to create their original animation!?
I’ve seen Eizouken!’s anime and the storyline was quite interesting! But I see some different impressions from manga! It’s awesome!
Right! For those who have watched anime, try the original comics too! Check here if you are interested in that!
