For some reason I didn't quite get an email that explicitly told me it had arrived at my local post office, but this might have been an error on their part instead of Manga Republic.

This was promised to arrive within 10 days and it did, and in extremely good condition! It left me with a very good impression of this store. Very happy with my purchase! But it might be beneficial to personally come by your post office if you've not received a message yet.

This was my first time buying in this website and that was an amazing experience!! The service is 100/100. I received some emails regarding my orders and everything was explained very very clearly. My order arrived in perfect packaging and there was also some clear cover bonuses (and that was a lot!!)!. Given that I live in Morocco and my past (and first) experience trying to import a Japanese manga from Amazon Japan was a failure, I wasn't positive that I would ever get my hand on this, but I'm glad I gave Manga Republic a try. My package wasn't held in customs, and I wasn't asked to pay anything extra at all, unlike my past experience with Amazon.jp and DHL. And with reasonable prices and reasonable shipping times, I was very happy.

My copy was used but it looks brand new! It came well packaged and even with an extra surprise. Thank you!

First of all, the packing and the state of the manga was simply perfect. It blows my mind that this was considered an used item.

But most importantly, I felt something really strange while opening it. Somehow, all the love and care that was put into making this package, the carefully placed mangas and the things that came along with it.

I just can't explain properly. I guess I felt like if I was receiving an actual gift from a deared relative instead of just receiving something I bought.

First time buying from Manga Republic, so was a bit worried about second hand book condition. Very surprised when excellent actually meant excellent condition, no damage, no stain, and no discolouration on the book at all. 

Bought from Manga Republic as I couldn’t find Sai:Taker manga secondhand (its an old manga) from where I usually buy physical manga. Although it is on the more expensive side (but still cheaper than proxy services), the condition of the secondhand books were very good, so I would definitely buy and recommend Manga Republic for older books that may be harder to find on other sites.

After watching the Miss Hokusai anime, I wanted to experience the Sarusuberi manga that it was based off. Sugiura Hinako's artistry is something else, the scene where Hokusai visits her blind daughter, with its use of black is haunting.

This beautifully illustrated and written story about two brothers who strive to forge their own musical careers in late 19th century Europe is a joy to read. Even if you're not a fan of Classical music, the characters and their development in the story are riveting. This is a well researched and lovingly rendered tale. 自由な音を生き出すためにパリを目指す二人の兄弟について感動させる物語です。

Makai Ouji is my absolute favourite manga, i always wanted the special editions but they never published them in english/german. So after a lot of searching i found the whole set here. It’s really beautiful, the shipping was without a hitch and i‘m very happy with my purchase :).

I can finally own an artbook featuring Angel Heart and Famiy Compo on top of City Hunter.

It wasn't available on amazon , and I already owned all of freak island / offal island and pumpkin night so it's a great addition.

Great packaging, great quality of products (in my case it was a collection of a serie from almost 30 years ago), sadly the delivery to my country took a while (20 days), but i'll still recommend it.

A second hand set that was obviously from a loving collector. Came with complete cover sleeves that hadn't even lost their sheen. They even kept the detachable promotional banners. Not super useful, but a neat time capsule.

Save for the unavoidable page yellowing, it could be mistaken for a new copy right off of store shelves. Count myself lucky to have a complete collection of such an old series, and even luckier for it to be as pristine as physically possible

I absolutely this so much!! Honestly the boys are such a gem to read about. This book though has so much angst T~T it came super quickly and I loved the bonus part that came with it!
