A chapter in my life has closed.
This manga has followed me through high school, through college, through relationships and through everything in between. Gut's journey has inspired me to find my own value in countless ways (to persevere through higher education and to never give up on my health being some of the biggest).
However, the biggest gift this book has given me is a strength many see as a weakness: the strength to lean on those who make me capable of being strong in the first place; for as much as we all wish to ascend to our very own great heights, we would find our kingdom to be worthless without a band of hawks to guide us on the way to it and to celebrate with us when we get there.
