It has been serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2016.

Nine volumes of the manga have been released so far. Its anime will starts to air as one of the Fall Anime from October, 2020.

The main protagonist, Yotsuya Yusuke, is a normal 3rd-year junior high school student.

He loves anything logical and loves to play games. He doesn’t belong to any club activity and goes straight home after school every day. He has neither particular dream for his future, nor an ideal career that he wants to be engage in…… It doesn’t mean he’s an apathetic boy but just a normal boy.

One day, he is spending his day normally, as always.

He is doing his day duty work with two other girls’ classmates.

One girl is Shindou Iu.

She is a 3rd-year junior high school student, just like him but is also a model after she was scouted by the model agency. She is such a cheerful and sociable girl that her life is totally different from Yusuke’s.

The other girl is Hakozaki Kusue.

She really doesn’t stand out in class. Yusuke has an image about her just being basically weak.

After they’re done with the day duty, they are about to go home…… when Yusuke realizes…… He is no longer in the classroom at school but is in the uncivilized jungle!!!

What’s more? He sees those two girls there too and they don’t seem panicking at all.

Then he actually sees the half-face, naked pervert.

While Yusuke is panicked, the pervert calmly starts to talk.

As Yusuke hears his explanation, he finds out that he has to complete the random quests just like he does in the game. The content of the quest is that “the player, including the new comer, Yusuke, have to complete the offers from the village mayor”. The monsters and the demons often come, trying to kill the players and Yusuke so they have to survive from it.

However, even if they are killed, they don’t actually die. They get revived in 30 seconds after they get “killed”.

However, when everybody gets killed simultaneously, they will all be killed for good.

By the way, these two girls have already completed the beginners’ mission. Then they have got bestowed the roles of a Magician and a Warrior, while Yusuke is randomly granted the rold of……

a Farmer, even though he has prayed;, “I want a warrior! I want a warrior!!”…… After he has equipped all the farm tools wih him, these three are about to go on a journey to complet the quests……

However, they find out that the status that the famer has cannot be improved so well that it’s way far from the immidiate force. Meanwhile, both Shindou and Hakozaki are killed, attacked by a super powerful-looking monster……!

Not being able to save Shindou, who has got preyed by the monster, Yusuke drugs Hakozaki with him and keeps running away from there for thirty seconds.

They have managed to survive but the Warrior, Hakozaki has lost her hands because that monster has an ability of “preventing the body parts that he has preyed from reviving”.

Plus, Shindou, also preyed by the monster, is not able to get revived. Yusuke ends up the only one who can fight normally. The equipment is not strong and his level is low…… They become desperate……

But then, Yusuke starts to think logically.

He takes Hakozaki, who cannot move, to the safe place in the village and tries to prevent both of the girls from dying. Meanwhile, Yusuke raises his level by raising small fish monsters around the village. Then he learns how the map works, avoiding the place where they have got attacked by the trolls. Doing so, he gradually improves his status.

He doesn’t have an idea where he fights, cooperating with his buddies. Because Yusuke ──

hates the “buddies” and the “city”. Instead, he loves “taking independent actions” more than anything.
