What Is a Song, Called Cantarella?

It’s a song created by WhiteFlame (Kurousa-P / Kurousa Producer). KAITO and Hatsune Miku from VOCALOID are assigned as its vocalists.
“Cantarella” is a poison allegedly used by the Borgias (existed in the medieval Italy) while assassinating. Using this poison, the Borgias gradually extended power over the surrounding area, by poisoning their political enemies. And there was a rumor that the son, Cesare Borgia and the daughter, Lucrezia Borgia, of the Borgias might have been dating, even though they were the family members.
Cantarella is a song whose motif is the son of the Borgias, Cesare Borgia, the daughter of the Borgias, and the poison.
The lyrics themselves didn’t have a clear story but another scenario was made under WhiteFlame (Kurousa Producer) and the director, Ichika-Sensei, who also worked on Aku no Musume’s comicalized version!

The storyline of Cantarella!

The story is set in the medieval Italy.
The son of the Borgias, Cesare Borgia (KAITO) is calls for by his father, the present family head of the Borgias.
There, his father shows him “Cantarella” that he owns. It’s the blue poison that shines even more beautifully when it’s displayed in the glass. Cesare tells his father that he is interested in “Cantarella” and his father says he’s going to give it away. His father says, “Keep it for your collection for now. This will show you its true figure when you become the family head of the Borgias.”
And he also says to Cesare,
“Today, I brought back your mother and sister who we have lived apart for eight years.”
While Cesare remembers his mother, he has never seen his sister, who was born eight years ago. Cesare looks up to his father as a father but he isn’t fond of his cunning personality.
I’m just gonna hope that my sister, who I’m going to see soon, won’t be like my father.
Thinking that in his mind, the time when he sees his sister has finally come.
His sister, Lucrezia(Hatsune Miku), is a beautiful, cheerful and polite girl, just like their mother.
Despite that Cesare greets her in an unfriendly manner, she greets him very politely, even smiling at him.
“I’ve never seen such a smile for a long time……”
Cesare feels that way, because nobody around Cesare shows such an innocent smile to him.
Cesare has a secret.
And because of the encounter with his sister, Lucrezia…… the destiny of these two will be completely changed.
I didn’t know that the Cantarella is the name of the poison……
Yep! In the comicalized version, you can enjoy the atmosphere that the song has too!
What fate will these siblings have at the end……? Why don’t you enjoy the scenario, which you can only enjoy in the comicalized version?
