A struggling young mangaka

Fushimi Kinosuke was a high school boy aspired to become a professional mangaka. He spent his days sleeping in class to focus all his energy working on his manga late at night.
For a high school student, producing a manga was an extremely expensive “hobby”. The pen tips and toners costed a great deal of money, thus Fushimi had to use them carefully and with meticulous calculation in order to finish his manuscript.
Before the school’s summer break, Fushimi had managed to complete a 60-page manuscript that he planned to submit to his favorite publishing company, Taurus.
On the first day of summer break, Fushimi had been staying up the whole night because he was nervous. Today was the day he would finally bring his work to the great publishing company that he admired since childhood.
Fushimi took the bullet train and finally arrived in central Tokyo. To a small-town boy like him, Tokyo seemed like it was filled with people everywhere he went. When Fushimi arrived at the building of Taurus Publishing, it looked as if he was about to enter a demon castle to face off against some evil monarch.
In Taurus’s editorial department, Fushimi sat down with one of the editors and showed him his manuscript. Without even introducing himself, the man started speeding through Fushimi’s work.
Fushimi was so nervous that his childhood started flashing before his eyes. He had been in love with manga ever since he was a small child, and today he would finally know the true value of his own creation.
The editor looked incredibly bored while reading Fushimi’s work, he sighed a lot and skipped through most of the pages without much thought. When the editor finished reading, he started pummeling Fushimi with criticisms.
The words that came out of the editor’s mouth were brutal for a novice like Fushimi. Finally, he asked Fushimi how old he was and followed up with a cold advice, telling him to just give up on his dream. It was the final knockout punch.
The editor then showed Fushimi the manuscript of a pro mangaka, Mizuno Tooru. He was in fact Fushimi’s idol.
It shocked Fushimi to his core by how good Mizuno’s manuscript was and the fact that he had drawn it at the age of 10. With just that, Taurus sent Fushimi away without a single word of encouragement like “Good luck” or “Try bringing something else next time”......

And a fearless psychic model

In another part of Tokyo that day, 16-year-old amateur model Ishidou Rin and her manager were at a meeting with some shady figures. They had contacted Rin due to her reputation of being able to foresee the future.
The men belonged to a yakuza crime family and they wanted Rin to point out who the next leader of their corporation would be. He showed Rin the pictures of all the men fighting to be in power and told her to give them a prediction.
Rin took a glance at the photos and immediately told them to stop messing with her. Two out of four men in the pictures had already been dead for a long time. It shocked the two men that Rin was able to spot out their scheme right away.
She then moved closer and whisper to one of the men something that left him speechless. She had foreseen his death by being shot at, while dressing up like a baby. After revealing the man’s deep dark secret and his death in the future, Rin casually walked away.
Outside the restaurant, Rin’s manager rushed to her as she seemed out of breath. After that fierce confrontation with the yakuza, it was understandable that she was nervous and had to regain her composure......
......or that was what her manager had thought.
On the contrary, Rin retorted that if they had stayed inside for a while longer, she was afraid she might have killed both of the yakuza.
A heart-broken young artist and a dangerous psychic – how will the two of them meet and change each other’s destiny? Find out as the story of RiN continue.
