What's the story?

The manga starts of with a young Shoyo Hinata, the protagonist, cycling through the market, when he hears two men talking about a volleyball player racking point after point.
Hinata stops to see the player. Shivers run down his Spine, when he sees the short heighted player, jump astoundingly high and win point after point. That man was known as the ‘Tiny Giant’.
Hinata, in his third year of middle school, is about to enter his first volleyball tournament ever.
He eagerly enters the gymnasium and smells the air salonpas. Everyone makes fun of their team for being a bunch of newbies but Hinata is excited to even be able to stand on the court.
Kageyama enters the gymnasium with a serious look on his face. He yells at his team members for not being able to keep up with his sets.
Hinata comes across kageyama in front of the restroom, where they both show their determination to win.
As soon as the match begins, Hinata dashes toward the ball, jumps really high and spikes the ball, but gets blocked by the opposing team.
Kageyama sees the jump and gets excited. Kageyama’s team start racking up point after point and win the first round. Hinata hasn’t given up, because he believes that one doesn’t lose until the match ends.
It is set point and Hinata’s team is about to lose, the ball is in his court, the setter accidentally sets it in the wrong direction, no one is on that side of the court, when out of nowhere, Hinata appears like a bolt of lightning, Kageyama bearly able to keep track of him, he spikes the ball past the blockers but it lands out of court.
After the match, Hinata stops Kageyama to tell him that he’ll win the next time they play.
Hinata gets into Karasuno high, the high school where the ‘Tiny Giant’ played. He eagerly runs through the hall and enters the school gymnasium. He is startled to see Kageyama already practicing in the court.
What will they do, now that Hinata and Kageyama are on the same team?
