What is “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun”?

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a Japanese manga series by Osamu Nishi.
It started serialization in Akita Shoten's shounen manga magazine Weekly Shounen Champion since March 2017. The series has been collected in 23 separate volumes. 4 million copies are in circulation as of May 2020.
An anime television series adaptation aired between October 2019 and March 2020, and a second season aired from April to September 2021. A third season has been announced.

What’s the story?

The manga introduces a 14 year old, Kind hearted boy, Iruma Suzuki. He has a very good personality, as he can not refuse any request, even if it gets him into gruesome trouble.
His parents are very selfish people, who left him when he was only one year old. However, they crossed the line when they sold Iruma to a demon, for money and fame.
The demon, Lord Sullivan, instead of killing him, asks him to become his Grandson. Iruma kun doesn’t know what’s happening, he tries to refuse, but Sullivan’s begging and crying, forces him to sign a contract, becoming his Grandson.
Sullivan promises to spoil and love Iruma. He even enrolles him into a demon school, as Iruma never had any education due to his situation.
Iruma arrives at the coronation, fearing that if the demons find out he’s a human, they’ll surely eat him. They all gather in the hall for the principal’s speech, who turns out to be non other than Lord Sullivan.
Iruma is trying keep a low profile in front of the demons, but Sullivan shows a poster of Iruma, boasting about his grandson. He even calls Iruma to give a speech instead of the freshman representative.
Iruma finds a letter on the podium and reads it aloud, it is revealed that what he just read was a forbidden spell and if he had mispronounced even a single word, his body would have blown to bits.
After the coronation, the freshman representative, Asmodeus Alice, challenges him to a fight. He throws a barrage of fireballs, but non of them hit Iruma, as he has gained a knack for avoiding attacks because of his rough childhood.
Asmodeus, comes at him with a sword, Iruma easily dodges it, but sees a girl in the line of his attack. Iruma quickly catches Asmodeus, serving him a German Suplex. He then takes Asmodeus to the infermary.
As Iruma won the battle fairly, according to Demon custom, Asmodeus now serves under Iruma.
