Hello everybody! Speaking of the restorative medicine in the fantasy world, what would you imagine? I would imagine MONSTER HUNTER’s ‘Portion.’ In Capcom’s collabo café, the bottles were available as a gift so I have ordered one too~! It’s Saori from Manga Republic!

What Is The power of the saint is all around. (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu)?

The power of the saint is all around. (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu) is a novel as the original and used to be posted in a Japanese user-generated novel publishing website, Let’s Become a Novelist around 2016.
The author is Tachibana Yuka-Sensei and its comicalized version, which started to be serialized around 2017, is illustrated by Fuji Azuki-Sensei. As for its novel, over 500,000 copies have been issued as of July 2019 and six volumes have been released so far. As for its comicalized version, five volumes have been released too. Both novels and comicalized versions have been loved by so many people.
Aaand! Its anime adaptation is now scheduled to premiere in April 2021!
(It could be a little bias but) among all the series whose original are the novesl, the one with a female main protagonist, might be rare!
Right. I feel the same way. I mean, we rarely see the anime whose original is the light novel, where a female main protagonist appears……? Well, let’s take a look at its outline!

The story is set in the modern world.
One day, when Takanashi Sei, in her twenties, who is workaholic, comes home from work as usual and……!
Guess what? Sei was summoned to a different world!
She finds herself in the completely different style room from the modern world, surrounded by people in armors. Sei clearly figures out that it’s not where she has lived in…… when she finds someone sitting next to her.
It’s a little girl, younger than her and she also looks shocked at being in such a mysterious atmosphere.
There, a young man with a red hair, shows up.
The man, who seems to have a high status, kneels down in front of such an imtimidated girl…… and says:
“…… You are the ‘Saint,’ huh?”
It looks like they are holding the ritual, where they summon the ‘Saint,’ who can save the world from the crisis. But usually, they summon only one girl. It’s the first time for them to summon two at the same time……
Guess what? The men with a red hair, who is the prince of that country, admits that only the girl as a ‘Saint’ and leaves the room, leaving Sei alone.
She’s been summoned but doesn’t know how to go back to where she came from.
Sei is now trying to leave the room but…… she realizes that there’s nothing she knows about that world. But people who work at the palace treat her so kindly. Sei has decided to stay there, feeling comfortable with them.
Two weeks have passed since then.
Sei is now used to staying in the palace, and one day, she is taking a walk in the garden.
Then she finds a grass flower, which she could also find in the world which she came from.
While Sei is sitting down and watching those flowers, a boy named Jude, who is a researcher in the palace, talks to her.
All the well-known herbs in the modern world, such as lavender, angelica and rosemary, could add efficacy to the restorative medicine in that world.
Now Sei looks forward to listening to Jude’s story about the herbs. And finally, since Sei has a plenty of time, living in the palace, decides to support herbs’ development as a palace researcher with Jude and other researchers!
