“The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is a four-panel spin-off manga series of the novel “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken),” where a boy who lived in the modern world was reincarnated to the different world when he was murdered by phantom killer and started his second live as a slime in the new place.
It’s illustrated by a promising youth, Shiba-Sensei, who have created two everyday-style manga series and this series has currently been serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius.
The characters’ everyday life, which have never been depicted in the main story of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken)” are being depicted comically and in a good pacing.

Storyline of The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!

The main character, Rimuru Tempest, in ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken),’ decides to keep a diary.
His diary starts with this sentence; “Dear diary…… I got reincarnated as a slime.”
Rimuru tries to recall so many times about the adventures, encounters and various incidents that he has gone through, and……
He stops writing his diary, thinking that it might be long.
That’s it?
Nope. It’s not! He just stopped writing his diary but the story will show us more details about towns or characters which appeared in the main story of ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken)’!
In the main story of ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken),’ Rimuru tries to ‘create a community,’ where various tribes will gather. This four-panel spin-off series shows us how the characters spend their life in that community.
Something like…… a clumsy everyday life of a ogre girl, Shion, who is a secretary……
Or another everyday life of Benimaru, who now works for Rimuru after going through so many events……
And how Rimuru himself feels about the community or his buddies who get together there……
