Here come the delinquents!

Takashi Mitsuhashi was moving into a new house with his mother at the start of Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!. The next day would be his first day at a new high school and a once-in-a-lifetime chance for him to reinvent himself.
Originally, Takashi had normal black hair and a mild demeanor. Takashi took the money that his mother gave him for a haircut and went to a nearby salon. At the entrance, Takashi met a boy named Shinji Itou with an appearance that was equally normal. Both of them thought of each other as “stupid punk”.
Entering the salon, Takashi requested for a bleached blond perm. After he was done, Takashi looked like a whole new person and was rather proud of how “different” he looked. It turned out that Takashi wasn’t the only one. Looking over his shoulder, Takashi saw Shinji with a comical spiky haircut.
The next morning, Takashi went to school with an overwhelm excitement and declared that his new life as a delinquent officially started. He was introduced as one of the two new transfer students of that year. Naturally, the other transfer student would be Shinji
Takashi took one look at Shinji and remembered how ordinary his old hair style was. He couldn’t hold back his laughter which made Shinji angry and in turn, Shinji punched Takashi. Takashi returned the favor with a powerful kick to Shinji’s face. As the teacher stepped in to stop them, he realized how troublesome these two were.
After that, Takashi noticed and asked the girl near him about the reason why this class only had a few students. She told him that those classmates were all bullied by the delinquents sitting in the back and left school.
Just as he feared, Takashi was surrounded on the rooftop by those delinquents. Fearing that he couldn’t win against five of them alone, Takashi was about to run.
Suddenly, the door swinged open and Shinji walked in. He declared that he had come to rescue Takashi because he hated people who would pick on weaklings. Takashi got angry by Shinji calling him a weakling and turned to hit Shinji instead. When Shinji and Takashi was busy fighting each other, the delinquents got confused and eventually left.
On his way back home, Takashi noticed Shinji was walking behind him. It turned out that their houses were in the same direction. Takashi and Shinji jumped into another silly contest to see who could walk faster.
That was when they accidentally bumped into a real yakuza. The man was terrifyingly strong as he punched a nearby light pole and left a huge dent. Takashi and Shinji ducked and hid behind a flower bed, thus they narrowly escaped.
The next day at school, Takashi was once again surrounded by the delinquents. They provoked him and Takashi punched one of the guys. Shinji also joined the fight to help him. After defeating the delinquents, one of them threaten that he knew a scary man named “Kagawa”.
Shinji and Takashi thought that they were the strongest and really bonded as friends while celebrating their victory.
On their way home, the yakuza that they met yesterday was already waiting. It turned out that this guy was the “Kagawa” that the delinquents at school mentioned. Takashi quickly hid behind Shinji’s back and shoved Shinji’s spiky hair into Kagawa’s face as an attack.
Kagawa was so surprised that he jumped out onto the street and was hit by a car. Thus, victory belonged to Takashi!
“This guy is someone to be feared”, Shinji thought while looking at Takashi standing on top of an unconscious Kagawa with a huge swelling on his head.
Will Takashi and Shinji achieve their goal and become the greatest delinquents in Japan? Read on to witness their journey to the top!
