What Is Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore?

Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore is a Japanese light novel series, serialized online between 2016 and 2020 on the user-generated novel publishing website, “Shōsetsuka ni Narō.” The series has been removed from the website but the comics have currently been issued.
Since 2018, the comicalized version has started to release.
It is written by Ken no Ji-Sensei and illustrated by Haruno Eri-Sensei. As for the novel version, five volumes, as for the comicalized version, four volumes have been released. An anime television series adaptation will premiere in July 2021 as one of the Summer Anime.
Oh, by the way, I see more series, where they make potions in another world, are created, such as ‘The power of the saint is all around. (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu),’ now on air!
Right! How on earth will he end up opening the drugstore……? Let’s take a look!

Outline of Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore!

One day, the main protagonist, Kirio Reiji, who is an offic worker, suddenly got transported to another world. He should be panicked, however…… he is so happy that he even cries in tears as soon as he finds out what situation he is in!
Yes, he hated his everyday life, where he commuted every morning in such a packed train and went to work that he hated. He’s now released from such a life!
The skill he has is “to make potions.” It looks like he is able to make potions but…… The Reiji feels something spooky from the forest. He quietly looks at it……
Guess what? A huge wounded wolf was laying down, looking exhausted.
Reiji, wanting to save the wolf, looks for something that can heal it, from his belongings. Then he feels a reaction of the ‘potion’ from the purse that the worf is hanging around the neck. He looks at inside…… then finds the potion!
When he is trying to help the wolf take the potion, the wolf looks surprised and would not accept it.
The reason is how fishy that smell is. It’s extremely stinky like rotten milk or fish that even Reiji feels like vomiting from that smell.
But then, the wolf won’t make it if he doesn’t take it…… Fortunately, Reiji looks around and finds some herbs growing.
“I think I can use it.”
Thanks to the ‘making potions’ skill, he can figure out which is necessary to make the potion. So now he makes the potion without any hesitation.
Then…… he is finally able to complete the potion!
Standing with two back feet, the wolf takes up the completed potion.
It should taste good…… the wolf takes it one sip. Then……
Guess what? The wolf turns into a human figure!
And she says that she will show him around in the village in return but……!?
It looks like the fishy potions are the only medicine that exists in that world. Therefore, the potions which Reiji made became so popular with good taste and good effect! This story is about Reiji’s another world’s life, where he opens a drugstore while making better potions……!
I like it! We can watch it casually and relaxing, I guess! Usually, this kind of ‘incarnating to the different world’ ends up having a cruel and tough destiny. But for this one, it’s more like everyday-life-type story. I like it!
The anime, where they make the potions, excites us as if we were watching the scientific experiment! Why don’t you check out Volume 1 of manga before anime starts in July?
