What Is How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu)?

It’s a Japanese light novel series written by Murasaki Yukiya-Sensei.
A manga adaptation has been running since 2015 and an anime television series adaptation aired in 2018 as the 1st Season. With the social game newly released from those popularity, the 2nd Season anime will also premiere in April 2021.
Wow~! 2nd Season will start to air in April. On top of that, a social game is also released, huh? That’s so popular!
I think the case, where the Reincarnating in the Different World-genre series is not from the Japanese user-generated novel publishing website ‘Let’s Become a Novelist,’ like this series, is rare. This author has created so many other series as well and she is such a popular author, I’ve heard!

Outline of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu)!

The story is set in the Fantasy MMORPG（Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game）・Cross Reverie. It’s the game, and the best part about this game is that various players can enjoy the fantasy world through the adventure or communication with a purpose of “stopping the Demon Load to revive.”
However, in that world, Cross Reverie, there already existed the “Demon Load.”
His name is Diablo.
He is one of the characters, who a gamer named Sakamoto Takuma controls but…… Diablo is literally the Demon Load who can beat all the players who challenge him with overwhelmingly high fighting skills, because Takuma has mastered the game too much.
Takuma plays the game all through night until the next morning, beating up all the players who have challenged to him. That’s his normal day’s routine but……
The next time Takuma wakes up, he finds himself in the sacred place with lots of sunshines. Then the two young girls are staring at him……!
One is a noble elf girl and the other one is a cute fusion of human and animal girl. When they find out that Takuma wakes up……!
Guess what? They both kiss him on the cheeks from both sides!
Confused, Takuma realizes something……!
Guess what? Takuma looks exactly like the character, Diablo, who he’s been controlling in the game! As soon as he finds the fact out…… he figures out that the place he ends up is the tower, where they summon the summon beasts. Finally, he finds out that the world he ends up is his favorite world, Cross Reverie!
“Maybe these two girls summoned me as the summon beast……?”
Yes, Takuma is right.
The two girls now start to argue. “I’m the one who summoned the Devil Load, Diablo!” Takuma, who was summoned, on the other hand, has no idea what’s going on but there’s no way he can choose one out of two and live as her sommon beast……!
Both are cute so maybe I should follow both……? But then, he clears that idea. Then the two girls finally start to quarrel……!
He actually doesn’t feel bad that they quarrel over him but he really doesn’t want them to get injured so he decides to stop them. However…… Since Takuma has spent all his time on playing the game, he has no experience communicating with people. Especially with such cute girls……
…… Nope. Actually, I do. I do have an experience talking to a girl in the game recently…… Well, with a help of that memory, he tries to talk to them.
“Stop arguing over such a stupid thing. You two are in front of the Demon Load, Diablo, right now.”
Since he has acted like the Devil Load in the game, he might be able to communicate with them with that style!!!
Takuma tells them, like the Domon Load speaks, to stop arguing and make up with each other, shaking hands. Both of them don’t seem to want to do that but……!
Guess what? They shake their hands each other with smiles!
Takuma feels strange to see them listening to him, being forced by him. And he realizes. If all the equipment is the same as the one in the game…… The Demon Load might still be wearing the ring, which is a super rare item, allowing him to block all the magic……! With the ring’s power, the girls couldn’t do anything but to listen to Takuma’s order!
Why was Takuma summoned to the world in the game? What is the destiny of those pretty girls who succeeded in summoning him, going to be like……!?
Wow~ it’s a classic type or reincarnating in the different world, huh? I bet there will be a lot of magic and swords, coming up too!
But again, since the next anime adaptation will be the 2nd Season, for those who haven’t watched the 1st Season, I would recommend that you should read the comics or watch the 1st Season of anime! If you read the comics up until Volume 8, you can catch up with the scenario of 2nd Season~!
