Let me share my feedback of the latest episode of Anime Jujutsu Kaisen this week too!!

All right then…… What was the best part about Episode 11??

The Battle of Itadori vs Junpei,
then Itadori vs Mahito……!

The episode starts from the last scene of the last week…… the scene, where Itadori hurried to Junpei, who was going to get his revenge, then their battle scene starts in the main story!

The beauty of Junpei’s jellyfish-like Shikigami looks really sharp with the dark school at night, huh……?

Junpei says ‘People’s heart is just a delusion.’ Itadori listens to Junpei’s circumstances and recommends that he should transfer to Kousen. That is going to finally pay off the earlier foreshadowing of the picnic’s scene in the opening……

Then Mahito, the mastermind behind the scene, shows up behind.

Mahito has modified Junpei so he can attack Itadori, with his words ‘Junpei, you are almost as foolish as the one you think is foolish.’

Junpei’s gone with the word ‘Why……?’ Looking at the scene, Mahito smiles and says ‘He’s dead yet?’

This scene is known to be one of the most heart-wrenching scenes for the readers in the original Jujutsu Kaisen.

When I was reading this scene through manga, I was like ‘OMG…… what an inferno……’ But as I see this scene through anime…… my heart really hurt……

Maybe because the way Junpei is as a human, is depicted more detailed and precisely, compared to manga……!? I mean…… it’s so painful……

Itadori now fights against Mahito with anger that he has never felt before. Itadori’s attack, where he’s aware of the shape of a soul unconsciously, works to Mahito, unlike the attacks of other Jujutsushi.

However, Mahito is about to attack Itadori from behind!! Then Nanami comes and saves him by a hairbreadth.

That's all for episode 12! Next week, it’s going to be the last episode this year. What’s gonna happen to the battle against Mahito!? It almost came to an end of Season 1 of Anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Can’t keep our eyes off from it!!

What’s more? In Jump Festa 2021, which took place online last Saturday, they showed us a key visual of Season 2, starting to air in January 2021 too!

Kyoto vs Tokyo! All the students compete with each other! I felt such a passionate atmosphere just from the key visual……! Can’t wait for the series, starting from the New Year too……!
